Some patients have brought in hearing devices that are no longer working; maybe they’ve accidentally washed their jeans with their hearing aids in the pocket, and the damaged parts are no longer being made and can’t be replaced. But regardless of how old your hearing devices are, if they are still working and there is no change in there is no problem with continuing to wear the aids. Normally, your hearing will change in four to six years when your devices need to be replaced.
