Our Professionals
Only AudigyCertified™ practices have access to AGX® Hearing technology — always the most advanced and effective technology available.
But great technology is just the beginning for us. Understanding the way you live, your personal hearing needs, and the better-hearing goals you have for yourself helps us craft a more personalized and comprehensive hearing solution than anyone else can offer.
Dr. Cathleen Simeo, Clinical Audiologist
Au.D., CCC-A
Cathleen Simeo, Doctor of Audiology, has been with our clinic for over ten years. She has educated patients of all ages on hearing loss and prevention. Cathleen has also developed our Tinnitus Solutions Program to help patients identify treatment paths that often go ignored. Cathleen likes to spend her free time with her three children. They love the outdoors and enjoy hiking, camping, and kayaking at the lake. She also enjoys DIY home improvement projects, although she rarely gets a chance to finish them 🙂
Hailey Walker, BS, HIS
Hearing Care Specialist
Hailey Walker is a Green Country native. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with her Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her Minor in American Sign Language. She is a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist and is ready to help our patients with all of their hearing needs. In her free time, Hailey likes to read, spend time with her family, and cuddle with her cat, Goose.
Sherry Lenhart
Patient Care Coordinator
Sherry is likely the first person you’ll meet at Hearing Solution Centers! You probably spoke with her when making your appointment. Her previous work experiences have been in dental offices in the Tulsa area. She is dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives. Sherry is thankful her children live in the area so she can spend time with her grandbabies.
Steve Krumm, HIS
Home Call Hearing Coordinator
Steve Krumm has been fitting and dispensing hearing aids in Oklahoma for more than 30 years. He has a passion for helping those with hearing difficulties to improve their quality of life. He has always looked at what he does as a calling and approaches each person he helps on an individual basis. He believes that each person’s needs and situations are unique to them and so should be their requirements for hearing amplification. No “cookie cutter” approach. Together let’s find what best works for you and improves your quality of life. When not helping others to hear better, Steve is the Associate Pastor to Senior Adults and leads worship at his church. He has a passion for music and teaching. He and his wife, Lynne, love animals and have a rat terrier named Boomer who keeps them entertained. They also enjoy cooking together in the kitchen and making sweet treats for friends and neighbors.
Valerie O'Brien, RN, BSN
Physician Referral Coordinator
Valerie works part time as the physician referral coordinator at Hearing Solution Centers. She attended TU and her nursing career has included working as a pediatric transplantation nurse at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX and pediatric oncology at St. Francis Hospital. Valerie enjoys being outdoors, running, and all things Disney. She has cherished many years of homeschooling her three daughters. Two have now graduated from OU.
Wendy D. Young, MSN
Clinical Program Director
Wendy has her Master’s degree in Nursing and performs part-time administrative and human resources functions at the clinic. She worked primarily in mental health as a therapist, a university educator, a consultant, and in nursing administration. Wendy homeschooled their son, taught in homeschool co-ops, and served in leadership of a 501 (c) 3 homeschool group. She enjoys the smell of aviation fuel, the roar of radial engines, and hanging out with their two dogs. A native of Colorado, she loves returning there to see the mountains and friends.
Dr. Scott Young, Owner, Founder
Au.D., CCC-A
members are happy to help you.
Dr. Scott F. Young has worked with private practices, ear, nose, and throat organizations, as well as manufacturers, fitting more than 30,000 patients successfully with hearing aids. Besides the day-to-day management and operations of the clinic, he enjoys learning more about World War II, studying the Bible, and writing books, fiction and non-fiction. He has written 18 books and numerous articles and often teaches classes on various topics he has studied.
Dax
Senior Clinic Greeter
Dax, a mini goldendoodle, has been greeting patients in our clinic for over a year when she was just months old. If not found sleeping or barking at a squirrel from the clinic window, she will be so excited to meet you! She gives kisses to those that want them. Dax’s goal of learning to answer the phone has not yet been met. She’s willing to come to the office any time – just let our team know that you would like to spend some time with her!
Kessel
Junior Clinic Greeter in Training
Kessel, a toy Aussiedoodle, has been trained by Miss Dax to be a greeter to our patients. She loves chewing on antlers, sleeping, and playing with squeaky toys when not in someone’s lap. She’s very busy and likes to keep track of everyone in her family. Kessel would like to train as an office watchdog, but her sweet personality might prevent that. She’s also available for some dog therapy – just let us know you’d like to meet her when you schedule an appointment.
